A GP referral is required for Chronic Disease management/EPC consultations. Please bring your GP Management Plan paperwork in to your first appointment. Also, please kindly fill in the Online Intake Form in email prior to your appointment.
There is a $55 out-of-pocket expense per consultation, this may be lower depending on your level of cover from Medicare. Please read below for more information.

These appointments are done within PBC SHS grounds. Please ask teaching staff at PBC SHS for the location.

Our Care Model
At Gold Coast Physiotherapy we place our full focus on achieving the best outcomes for our clients. That is why we have made all clinical consultations 45minutes. Allowing time and care to be taken during the assessment and treatment of every client, our expert therapists take a personalised approach to your health. Working with you to understand your goals, diagnose your health concern/s, and tailor a treatment plan targeted to meet your unique needs. We also place emphasis on educating and empowering our clients to understand their condition. Our therapists provide strategies to ensure that our clients condition, where possible, never returns. Where this is not possible, we educate our clients to take control and implement management strategies to prevent major flare ups from occurring in the future.
GP Referred Medicare Plan's
For all GP referred Chronic Disease Mangement Plans, clients will pay $115 within clinic and be rebated through Medicare within 3 days. The rebate amount from Medicare equates to an out-of-pocket expense of approximately $55 per consultation. There may be variability in your out-of-pocket expenses which is dependent on whether you have reached your Medicare "Safety Net". To learn more about Medicare's Safety Net and how it relates to your out-of-pocket expense Click Here. Clients are asked to please bring their GP Plan and paperwork into their first consultation. If booking online, please be sure to fill in the Online Intake Form sent to your email before your appointment.
Home Visits
Please note that home visits are available on request. If you wish to book a home visit, please contact us at (07) 56301443 or send an enquiry to contact@goldcoastphysiotherapy.net.au stating the nature of your concern, your location, and preferred days/times and we will arrange an appointment time that suits you.
